Environmental Restoration Project
Allyn Pratt has worked at LANL for the last 18 years in the Laboratory's environmental programs. These programs include the Yucca Mountain Site Characterization project, (the project to certify a candidate site for the geologic disposal of the nation's high-level nuclear power plant waste) and the Laboratory's Environmental Restoration Project, the project to cleanup legacy contamination from past laboratory operations.  
As a Project Leader for the Environmental Restoration Project, Pratt has lead field teams that have conducted environmental site characterizations on over 200 solid waste management units, the surface based characterizations of six of the canyon systems and initiated the drilling program to characterize the deep groundwater system under the Laboratory.  
Currently, Pratt works in the LANL’s Risk Reduction and Environmental Stewardship Division.
Pratt’s education includes:
Bachelor Degree in Forestry
Masters Degrees in Environmental Science / Business Administration
Certified Hazardous Materials Manager
Registered Environmental Systems Manager
